Weeping Willow Earrings - Hoop Wire
- Handmade Botanical Jewellery
Graceful and poetic, the weeping willow has long symbolised flexibility and resilience, bending with the wind yet never breaking. Its slender, cascading leaves evoke a sense of movement and renewal, inspiring artists and storytellers with its quiet elegance. In the Weeping Willow collection, these qualities are captured in delicate detail, creating jewellery that honours the tree’s elegant silhouette and timeless symbolism.
The earrings feature a small oval hoop. At the centre rests a cluster of white freshwater seed pearls, representing the tree’s catkins, their soft lustre adding light and contrast. From the hoop, hand-patinated bronze willow leaves cascade gracefully, interspersed with additional pearl clusters. The interplay of verdant patina and luminous pearls creates earrings that are delicate yet striking, with a natural rhythm that echoes the movement of the willow’s branches.
Materials: The Weeping Willow earrings are cast in hand-patinated bronze with clusters of white freshwater seed pearls. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.
