Sweet Pea Pendant
- Handmade Botanical Jewellery
In the early 17th century, when botanical books were popular and frequently used as design inspirations, the sweet pea became a fashionable floral motif. It has a soft, curved silhouette, conforming well to the stylised embroidery techniques of the time.
The Sweet Pea jewellery collection is inspired by the extensive collection of Elizabethan and Jacobean embroidery held in the archives of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
The collection is licensed by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England.
