The Plique-à-Jour Blossom earrings reinterpret the sculptural beauty of magnolia flowers through an Art Nouveau-inspired approach to enamel. Broad petals open around a delicate centre, their graceful form echoing the flowing floral motifs that became synonymous with the movement. The collection takes its name from plique-à-jour, meaning “letting in the daylight”, an enamelling tradition celebrated for its stained-glass-like effect.
A single magnolia-inspired bloom forms each earring, cast in bronze and finished with 24k gold plating. Pearly creamy-white hand enamel fills the individual petals, creating a softly luminous contrast against the fine gold outlines. Simple and refined, these Plique-à-Jour Blossom earrings let the flower itself take centre stage, with gentle movement from the wire adding to their light, elegant character.
Materials: The Plique-à-Jour Blossom earrings are cast in bronze with 24kt gold plating and pearly creamy-white enamel. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.
