Fine Nautilus Shell Earrings - Post
- Handmade Botanical Jewellery
Nautilus is a large, mobile cephalopod which is called a "living fossil" and has been the subject of poetry, artwork, math, and jewellery. Long before dinosaurs roamed the Earth, giant cephalopods swam in the sea. The nautilus is the oldest cephalopod ancestor. It hasn't changed much over the last 500 million years, hence the name living fossil.
Materials: The earrings are available in Gold Vermeil (24kt Gold over Sterling Silver) and solid 18kt Gold on request, accented with white freshwater pearls.
