Sequoia refers to one of the redwood coniferous trees found mostly in North America. Giant Sequoias are the world's largest trees by volume and can grow to heights of more than 300 feet. This collection was created in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Yosemite Grant Act signed by President Lincoln to protect Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove which contains Sequoias believed to be up to 2400 years old.
